Can you share a bit about your business and what you do?

Arvely & Co. Jewelry is an online jewelry store committed to bringing a luxurious experience to you by offering high-quality, contemporary jewelry pieces at an affordable price. We are the essence of an ambitious, open-minded, confident, valiant California girl wherever you are in the world.

When and why did you decide to start your new business?

In 2018, I was introduced to the world of e-commerce, and I was fascinated by it. I tried to sell a few things online, and it didn’t work out as well as I thought. I gave up and let it rest. Fast forward to 2020, quarantine really got me thinking about what I wanted to do. I wasn’t able to work from home from the job I had at the time, and the idea of e-commerce was still in my head. I was accepted into a Brand Management masters program abroad during quarantine, and it really pushed me to start my own brand. Jewelry was one of those things that I knew I wore a lot of, and that would sell without having to take up a lot of inventory space at home.

What do you love most about running your own business?

Honestly, I love the independence that it gives me. I can work on my business early mornings, during the day, or late at night. I choose what content I put out there, the inventory, release date, etc. it’s all up to me. Another thing that I love is that I am learning so much along the way. I just bought a few business books that I’m super excited to read. The last thing is that I’m meeting so many inspiring women out there. You guys are awesome!

What are your overall goals for your business?

As of right now, my goals are to create a space for women to feel good and comfortable wearing our pieces of jewelry no matter what you look like or where you’re from! Eventually, in the future, I would like to expand abroad, but I need to grasp the USA/North America first 😉
