Can you share a bit about your business and what you do?

Hello, my name is Laura Amber. I’m a 15-year-old student and the creator behind my shop Dizzy Dewdrops. I sell waterproof, vinyl, hand-drawn stickers! My small biz is still getting on its feet, so at the moment, I only sell custom, hand-drawn pet stickers, and anime stickers. I also take sticker commissions. 

I’m also currently working on adding:

• KPOP stickers (NCT, BTS, Itzy, Seventeen, TxT, Mamamoo, Stray Kids, etc.)
• Custom hand-drawn portrait stickers
• Masks
• Hoodies
• Prints with your pet on it
• A “save the earth” sticker pack 
• And more to come! 

When and why did you decide to start your new business?

My shop Dizzy Dewdrops launched on Etsy on September 28, 2020. I decided to start my small business over the summer because I needed to do something with all the free time while sheltering-in-place. I came to the realization that my main two loves at the moment were pups and art, so I smushed the two ideas together and decided to make a living out of it.

What do you love most about running your own business?

I love running my own business because I get to earn money by playing with my hobbies, working on my own hours, and seeing many adorable pets. However, I love running my business because I can bring smiles to people’s faces and tears to their eyes when they get my art in the mail. I never thought that my art was that great, but starting my small biz has helped me embrace my talents. I realize now that art is not something meant to be kept hidden away in the depths of an iPad or sketchbook. But it truly is something that is meant to be shared with others.

What are your overall goals for your business?

As cheesy as it sounds, I don’t have an interest in dominating the Etsy Market place or creating a massive empire. My goal is to make my mark on the world by utilizing my small biz to spread smiles because happiness is the key to living a successful life.

Custom Pet Stickers: To order custom pet stickers, you can DM me on Instagram or check out my Etsy shop. 

How it works: 

1. Order your stickers
2. Send me photos of your pet through Instagram or Etsy messaging. 
3. I’ll draw them and ship them to you within two weeks*

*The processing time is so long because I am a high school student and athlete with lots of homework, LOL, but I promise to dedicate time and love to your pet!) 

Anime Stickers: To order anime stickers, you can dm me on Instagram with the stickers you want or order them on Etsy and then ship them to you. 

Commissions: To order a sticker commission, DM me on Instagram! Commissions can be absolutely anything you want. The sky’s the limit.

2. We’ll work out a price based on the complexity of your vision and the size of the sticker you want 
3. I’ll draw your stickers and then ship them to you
