Aysia of Ayabakes

Meet the Baker: Aysia of Ayabakes

Can you share a bit about your business and what you do?

I started Ayabakes on a whim. I sell many flavors of homemade banana bread, Rice Krispies, and more goodies. I am a one-woman show, but I love to bounce ideas off my family and friends!

When and why did you decide to start your new business?

I started my business in November 2020 to destress from all the craziness happing in my life. I’ve always loved cooking and baking for my family and friends. I have a huge family! Plus, so many people have asked for my banana bread recipe over the years. During the pandemic, banana bread even became a trend for a little bit. Lol. So I figured why not make a business out of it!

What do you love most about running your own business?

I love being able to bring joy to someone’s face and their families with my baked goods. I’m such a foodie and have a huge sweet tooth. I know how much food can put you in a good mood and just brings people together!

What are your overall goals for your business?

Not sure. I just want to continue to share my treats and grow my clientele.

For funsies, what’s your favorite product/image/gift/event / etc. you’ve created so far?

I try to come up with new flavors all the time. I love that I have perfected my banana bread recipe. My favorite rice krispy flavor at the moment is churro with a Mexican hot chocolate drizzle.

If someone may want to reach out for a collab or another service, what else can you provide?
