Can you share a bit about your business and what you do?

I create handmade macrame pieces to bring beauty into your homes and spaces. 

When and why did you decide to start your new business? 

I started my macrame journey towards the beginning of the pandemic. I started buying lots of plants, and when I ran out of room to fit them in my room, I jumped on YouTube and watched a tutorial on making a macrame plant hanger. From there, I started to get creative and branch out to other products. Making macrame pieces has been a sort of therapy for me. 

What do you love most about running your own business?

What I love the most is the amount of space for creativity there is. I genuinely enjoy making my pieces. Being able to turn something I love into a business has been so amazing. I love seeing customers’ reactions when they receive their pieces. 

What are your overall goals for your business?

I am currently working on a website. My goal for this year is to create a presence online. Also, getting more into pop-up shops around the Bay Area. 

For funsies, what’s your favorite product you’ve created so far? 

I recently made macrame earrings. Being able to wear my art has been so fun and an easy way to market my product.
