OK – time to brag about Fuckin Delicious Cookies.
We make the best cookies in the bay! We pride ourselves on creating not only regular cookies but also the best Gluten Free and vegan cookies you will ever find! There are 19 flavors on the menu, with a usual three limited in rotation. We sell to everyone and anyone in the bay and beyond, and we don’t do minimums, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to try the best Fuckin Cookies out there!
What’s the best thing about being a small business owner?
I like the ability to set my own schedule and work the hours that I think work best for me. I love getting to see the process and results of my work and getting to meet new people. I love knowing that I have a hand in everything that goes on with the business, what direction we are going, and what we are doing!
What’s a typical day like for you?
A typical day usually starts with a run in the morning early (5:30-6:00 am) with my best friend Ollie, then having breakfast and starting with all the harder tasks I need to complete! Scheduling posts, making content, baking, etc. I found that if I get the hard stuff done first that the rest of the day, I am much more productive with my time! In the afternoon, if I’m not delivering cookies to a client, I’m usually testing new recipes, rolling cookie dough, updating spreadsheets and files, and then once the day is over, I’ll go out and play a round of disc golf maybe end my night with a cookie or 4! Hahahahahahaha.
What advice do you have for aspiring small business owners?
Do your research on what you want to do, test, test, test. That way, you know what you provide is undeniable, don’t be afraid to ask for help, and be fuckin’ consistent on whatever platform you find best for your business!
What’s something you wish someone told you about starting a business?
It’s a lot of ups and downs, but if you have a passion and love for what you do, it will all be worth it!
What are your top 2-3 items you recommend for new potential shoppers?
Top three items that we sell let’s see….
- Chocolate chip with finishing salt is everyone’s go-to
- Cookies and creme (also a fan favorite)
- Snickerdoodle (a classic but well worth it!)
If it was me, though, I like the weird and non-traditional. So right now, the jasmine cookie, Thai tea, and oatmeal raisin would be my go-to!
